The ProgramData folder is hidden by default. Enable "Show hidden files" in File Explorer settings or paste the path directly into the address bar.
Windows XP
Each AOL screen name has its own subfolder containing the PFC file. The file may not have a visible .pfc extension.

You need to enable "Show hidden files" in File Explorer. Each AOL screen name gets its own PFC file and the extension is often missing.Possibly not. The .pfc extension was also used by Pegasus Mail for its message cache, by the old First Choice office suite and by Corel WordPerfect. Those files share the extension but hold completely different data. Open the file in this viewer. A real AOL Personal Filing Cabinet loads and shows its folders. A file from another program will be reported as unrecognized instead of showing garbage.
